The Devon Classic Bike Ride 2015 has a challenge for all abilities and will have four different and challenging routes covering miles of the beautiful Devon country side on Sunday 19th July, 2015. The four one day rides are designed for all ages and abilities, with distances of 15, 55, 85 and 100 miles on offer this really is an event for the whole family. Sportsmen and women, boys and girls, who want to take on a challenge and raise much appreciated funds for highly deserving charities are all welcome! Riders in each distance will have all of their food and drink provided along with support from our dedicated team provided around the course. The Devon Classic Bike Ride support team aim to take care of everything, so that riders can just concentrate on the event and enjoy the challenge ahead of them.
The event will start and finish at David Lloyd Club Exeter Sandy Park. It is here in our event village that all your supporters, friends and family will have the opportunity to see you ride over the finish line and collect your much deserved medal once you have completed your fantastic achievement. The final stage of the event this year has been changed and riders will be given the choice of the regular easier route home or a tough guy route and the choice will be yours on the day and all riders will receive medals for all three rides.
All pit stops will be hosted by local charity volunteers and they will be ready and waiting to recharge your batteries with plenty of food, drinks and the hospitality that only the Devon Classic Bike Ride can give. This new and exciting event is designed for all competitors to have fun, meet new friends and get a real sense of achievement by competing in and finishing one of the Devon Classic Bike Ride’s fantastic routes.
The 2014 event raised over £8,000 for Hospiscare, a Devon based local charity and they are delighted to be the official charity partner again in 2015. For more information on the charity and how you can raise money for them, please the charities tab at the top of this page.
