The Kitsons Devon Classic Bike Ride is taking place THIS WEEKEND! While we have now closed our online registration for this event, it is still possible to enter on the day. Please email email@example.com if you’re looking to sign up and enter on the day. We advise doing so 1 hour before your start time, which are all at and from David Lloyd at Sandy Park, Exeter, EX2 7NN:
100 miles – 7.30am
85 miles – 8am
55 miles – 8.30am
15 miles – 9am
Their are four routes on offer (100, 85, 55 or 15 miles) so there really is something for everyone at this great family ride. Start times are listed below, and we recommend arriving one hour before your start time to register, where you will receive your race number, jerseys (if pre-ordered) and all other final bits of information for the ride. The start and finish of each ride will be taking place from Sandy Park Exeter, home of The Exeter Chiefs RFC. Start times are as follows:
All pit stops will be hosted by local charity volunteers and they will be ready and waiting to recharge your batteries with plenty of food, drinks and the hospitality that only the Kitsons Devon Classic Bike Ride can give. This new and exciting event is designed for all competitors to have fun, meet new friends and get a real sense of achievement by competing in and finishing one of the Devon Classic Bike Ride’s fantastic routes. Pit stops will be at (roughly) 20 mile intervals.
The 2014 event raised over £8,000 for Hospiscare, a Devon based local charity and they are delighted to be the official charity partner again in 2015. For more information on the charity and how you can raise money for them, please the charities tab at the top of this page.
So, if you think you have what it takes to take on one of the Devon Classic Bike Ride’s routes then sign up now and we look forward to cheering you across the start (and finish) line at Sandy Park on Sunday 19th July 2015.
The Devon Classic Bike Ride is a fantastic challenge, so get on board now and sign up to this fantastic day out, in the middle of Summer.
